New Jersey’s Department of Health has released their 2014 Annual Report on the Medicinal Marijuana Program. The report is filled with great deal of information and stats. We took a look at the conditions most often cited by medical marijuana patients.
At the top of the list is “intractable skeletal spasticity” or severe muscle spasms totaling 34%. Next up, severe or chronic pain associated with cancer, AIDS, or HIV at 26%. Multiple sclerosis and inflammatory bowel disease were both at 15%. Seizure disorder and Terminal cancer were both reported by 7% of the medical marijuana patients.
